Processed Basswood spindles

Here is a pile of some processed Basswood spindles. These came from a huge, hairy, heavy block of wood like the one in the first picture.

Plaining Cherry Wood

Here I am plaining down one of those monstrous hunks of cherry into a useable piece of beautiful wood.

Processed Cherry pieces

Again, these were processed from a ugly hunk of raw lumber (like the dark red piece from the first picture), but now they are beautiful smooth pieces of great smelling cherry. Amazing!
